Cant delete files via cPanel

All my files have been set to read only!!! dont know why maybe word press problems?
I wish to delete all files so i can upload a joomla site!

Tried to install Wordpress for testing didn't like it
Started to transfer joomla connection dropped 1/2 way through.
Now cant continue joomla upload and cant delete anything from the domain
I wish to delete everything and start again

It seems that all the servers have a problem with file system permissions at the moment.
Staff are aware of the problem.

Sorry, there is no ETA for a fix.

You ,along with many fellow x10 members, are facing Read Only File System (RO-FS)situation.

This issue is expected to be resolved automatically/by staff members.

There isn't an official word on chopin (hosting server) migration, but it seems there is some misconfiguration big time somewhere.
