Can not log into cPanel

I am using http://starka.x10hosting.com:2082/login/
User name = dmaxey
Yesterday I (as suggested in a fourm post) I changed all my passwords. It successfully changed my forums password (hence I can log on and write this support request). It successfully changed my password when I use FTP yesterday, but today it's back to the old password. I am able to log on to FTP using my old password. However, I can not log on to cPanel using any password.

Please reset my cPanel password. Thanks for your help.

This is exactly what I did yesterday. However, in order to prove all avenues available to me have been exhausted. I will do it again now. If it is successful I will not post another reply. If it is NOT successful, I will post a reply after this stating that it did not work.

After poking around I found out what the problem was. The password reset page said that I was at https://chopin.x10hosting.com:2083/login/ Previously I was on starka. I have no idea how I wound up on chopin... but there it is. I can log on now.
