account still pending

I opened my account and verified it two days ago and it says it's still pending. It said to contact support after 24 hours, but I can't make a new ticket or whatever, because the server is down?

So, is this site shutting down? Are no new accounts being activated?

Nothing is shutting down. Right now there is server work being performed, so as a result, account creation may be temporarily halted or backed up.

Aren't the servers back up? It's been over a week now.

Yes the servers are up. We receive tons of registrations a day(hundreds, don't have numbers but possibly up to 1000 a day). The queue for account creation is probably really backed up so it could be a few more days, up to a week.
