Registering name servers for .is domain

    Hi,
I have a .is domain which I am trying to point to my x10hosting site.
Web forwarding works fine, but leaves me with the vantex.x10.mx site name.

Unfortunately the registrar for the domain requires nameservers to be registered with them and to fit their technical requirements, so I cannot redesignate the domain to the x10hosting nameservers on my own.

Would it be possible to look into registering x10hosting with the respective registrar?
    Here is the link:
    https://www.isnic.is/en/host/new

and here are their technical requirements:
    https://www.isnic.is/en/host/req.php

    regards.

Does your government/ Internet Regulatory Authority put restriction on location of web servers?

    x10 DNS Nameservers :
    ns1.x10hosting.com
    ns2.x10hosting.com

No there are no geographic restrictions.
The main problem is that they require the nameservers to have been registered with them, and this has to done by the owner or administrators of the servers, before a domain can be pointed to the domain.

This is from the faq, sections covering registration of nameservers.

    Thanks

Wait for some administrator to comment on it.

I would recommend you to just check this thread once:
