FTP Error

I have signed up for the free hosting account and am unable to connect to FTP through FileZilla. I am getting "530 Login authentication failed" response. However, the password is correct.

Yes, I signed up for the hosting account today and after the account was created I have been trying for last 4 hours.

The online file manager works, but FileZilla and Core FTP show authentication failure.

I meant the time - 15:50 London time.

Anyways, first and foremost - flush your dns records.
And try again.

Yes I am trying right now.

Earlier I was getting authentication failure and now after flushing the DNS the connection is being timed out (30 sec).

Please always post your (new)error log, it helps in faster resolution.

If it is still not working, then try this:

I restarted my PC right now and tried again

Again I am receiving the same authentication error on ftp.rorinz.co.cc

However, I am able to connect to ftp.boru.x10hosting.com, but I am seeing lots of new directories on this server (.mozilla, .fantasticodata, etc)

Just go to /public_html/

Personally, I would recommend cpanel >> filemanager > upload/download

I created an FTP account called admin, I am not able to connect it to boru.x10hosting.com


I think that only Special FTP Accounts which are created by x10 are allowed on this server (rorinz in my case)


Also, If I use this server on regular basis, would there be any problem.

NO, but ftp.yourdomain would be the preferred one.

Use your cpanel_username / cpanel_username_pwd

After dns flush/reboot , are you still getting the same(the posted one) error log ?
