some help with vb forum

Hi ,
I'm going to make 3.8.5 vb forum on my free hosting , the problem is where do I put the vb folder , for example , public ...etc

then ....
I need to know some information like
server name , master server user name and such config information .

Upload the vB folder into public_html. If you want the forum in the root of your domain, upload only the contents of the vb folder and not the folder itself.

The information is:
Server name: localhost
SQL Username: Create this in cpanel
SQL Password: Same as above
SQL DB Name: cPanel also

Also, be sure you actually bought vB forum from http://www.vbulletin.com/ and didn't get it any other way. We strictly prohibit nulled software and you will receive a permanent suspension if our scanners detect an unlicensed vB installation.

First and foremost, make sure it's a legal version. That's just common sense.

Wait...It wasn't? It was missing the license #?! The license number that's always there when it's downloaded legitimately?!?!?!
