getting new MySQL error

Greetings,

today I keep getting the following:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)

This is coming from several pages that were working fine yesterday.

Could this be related to the recent migrations ?
