    mysqladmin flush-hosts?

One of the things I use my hosting account for is the MySQL server, but the program that I use that uses the MySQL is giving me an error along the lines of:

"Host myipishere is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'"

I am on starka, and I don't think I can flush hosts on my own, I believe thats an administrator thing.... so I was wondering if there was any way to fix this, as this is kinda important to me, and it would help to get it back up ASAP! Thank you!

Hello. Is 'myipishere' referring to your own IP? If so, this shouldn't work because remote MySQL is not enabled on our free servers. The only host that the server will accept is localhost (or something that would refer to the hosting server), which is from the actual server (Starka) itself.

I added my IP to the remote MySQL thing, and I was using it fine up until now... I think some error occurred somewhere that caused the database to lock me out, so.... yea...

Hmm it may have been accidentally working fine while servers were being worked on, because free hosting isn't supposed to support Remote MySQL. You would need Premium Hosting for that.
