Do you happen to know how long it takes? I've waited about a day.
Is it waiting for an administrators approval or is it taking time going through the system?

Below the status it says

Your hosting account signup is currently awaiting processing or executing within our system queue. Its status is displayed above and will be updated upon clicking the submit below.

But there isn't a submit button, only an 'update' button and it's on the right side of the text (not below.)

As I said, you'll just have to be patient. I believe the queues are currently paused while maintenance goes on; that's why it's slow.
The update button is what you need.
