when i try to transfer my site at the server (chopin) my connection terminates at the middle of the operation.

i used filezilla and winscp but i have problem with both of them.. it disconnects at 50%..

    Hello,

What is the size of the file you're trying to upload? The maximum is 16MB.
FTP connection details can be found here: http://x10hosting.com/wiki/FTP

    Thanks.

    Hello,

You can do, then upload them and unzip them via the cPanel file manager. That does archive functions.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I think most formats work other than .rar
Are you using the cPanel file manager's "Extract" function?

    Thanks.

    Re: ftp transfer

You'd need to use normal zip compression. I know tar.gz is supported also.
