    Having cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi problem

    Hi Admin!

    Today I just update my website by delete all files in (/public_html) folder. After that I can access my site. Then I just upload an image to override an old image in (/public_html/data/images/gallery/3d-design/jupop) folder. Then the problem http://activethinking.net/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi. My site is not shown.
    I can only see my site by adding index.html like this: http://activethinking.net/index.html
    Also, it causes my flash site problem by not loading the last thumbnail stopped at 10/11.
    Can you tell me what causes this problem and
    Please help me to solve this problem asap coz I have to send the link as my portfolio!

    Thank you very much!

    Max

    Howdy;
    Are you still experiencing difficulty?
    Your website is loading quickly for me and with no errors of any kind at this time.

    Re: Having cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi problem

    Thank you very much Carl! I found the problem and fixed. I'm sorry that I forgot to post the closed thread! My mistake was that I deleted the .htaccess file, so the sever cannot find my default index.html and that cause the problem. Then I add "DirectoryIndex index.html index.php" into the blank .htaccess which is created automatically by the server. That solved the problem!

    So my lesson from this one is not to delete the index.hmtl and .htaccess file. Better to overwrite the index.html
