Web Configuration - ASP.NET

i changed my web.config but all my changes were not applied, only the last web configuration. For example, i remove the custom error section and turn it off, but when i got an error it still redirects to my error page, and yet even i delete my error handler page, it is looking for it...my default.aspx it not MY default.aspx it displays either Hello or Hi

Asp.net is disabled on free hosting.
