My website doesnt seem to be working?

Hi there, I have recently signed up for your free hosting service, and i got started by logging onto cPanel and creating files on file-manager, where i created my index page (index.php) and left a short message stating that my website is currently under construction, when i had saved my index.php file, I visited my website (www.mrburnsandsmithersshow.x10.mx) and there was a message saying \'Hi\', I was wondering where this message had come from, as it was not what i put in my index page, so I typed in index.php at the end of my website address (www.mrburnsandsmithersshow.x10.mx/index.php) and a 404 not found page came up. I dont know why this has happened?, please could anybody help me with my problem?, thanks in advance!.
