500 Internal Server Error

This is my free hosting pali.x10.mx , i tried to upload a php script and it wont show on browser. it will say 500 Internal Server Error (?)... i need help. i need to know why.

Please post the contents of the .htaccess file you have in the public_html directory. If using cPanel file manager you'll need to enable the viewing of dotfiles.

Hello,

Immediately after clicking the icon in the main cPanel window, a box should pop up. Towards the bottom is a check-box for dotfiles.

I think it just worked.... I enable the viewing of dotfiles.

I'm having another issue... it says no database selected. I am trying to connect a database my sql script and after the connection and the sql query if i try to access the database in a link. it will display no database selected.
