    Moved on to a paid provider

    First, thank you for offering a free service to those who need it, and allowing those considering purchasing your services to try it for free. The hosting itself, for a free server, was second to none.

    I signed up with a handful of companies which offer free hosting to decide which one to buy paid hosting from. Unfortunately, after roughly 72 hours have passed with no reply to my small simple question on this forum (to which I already knew the answer but wanted to get a sample of support), I have decided to purchase services with another host, who answered the same question within minutes.

    I wish everyone at x10 the best of luck, and hope you consider making customer support a slightly higher priority, even for your free customers. You never know who's testing the waters for a purchase.

    (X) Inserting an X inside the parentheses signifies that I have made all necessary backups of my free hosting account and will not hold x10Hosting responsible for any data I am unable to recover after my free hosting account is deleted. The X also serves as my digital signature verifying that I have proper authorization to request account deletion of the account specified.

    I would like to point out that free hosting support at x10Hosting is provided by volunteer members of the community support team in these forums. Premium Support is provided by support staff through a support ticket system. One cannot evaluate premium support service at x10Hosting based on experience with free hosting support because they two completely separate systems.

    I have set your account to be deleted after a 14 day waiting period.

    Ah, ok, well thanks anyway, and I'd just like to say that it's nothing against the x10 hosting service at all. It's the best free hosting provider I have found - the most features, it was reasonably fast, and I didn't have any trouble installing a test cms system. I had just hoped to see a simple question get answered in under 3 days (I asked if gzip could be enabled), but I do understand the volunteer aspect of it :P
