Is it possible to change my forum user name?

Is it possible to change my forum user name (zoatrice13) to match my free hosting user name (ainai) without having to create another forum account just to swap names? I don\'t know why two different user names were created during the sign-up process, but I find it inconvenient. The forum user name (ainai) should be available, last I checked.

We do not change forum usernames. You'll need to find an alternative method.

I went ahead and swapped names as I described earlier since it looked like it was the only solution. I no longer need this forum account now, but I don't see an option to terminate it under my user settings.

I'd like to free my email address for use with my primary account, so is there a way to terminate this account or will it wipe after 31 days of inactivity, like a hosting account?

No, sorry. Due to the backend we can't delete forum accounts. You could change the email address of this one to something random, and then use the other address for your new account?
