Index.php was using 35% CPU constantly.

Was index.php using 35% for one page load or for multiple page loads?

If it's multiple page loads, I may consider removing SMF and installing something else.

That's all the information I was given. Obviously, that exceeds the 25% CPU utilisation limit.
