    404 Not Found

    Greetings.
Could you please help me to resolve the following issue?
Here is the path which is not working: http://thcv.elementfx.com/cgi-bin/php/test.txt
Here is the error message: 404 Not Found

The server can not find the requested page:
    thcv.elementfx.com/cgi-bin/php/test.txt (port 80)

Please forward this error screen to thcv.elementfx.com's WebMaster.
    Apache/2.2.17 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.17 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at thcv.elementfx.com Port 80

The whole path is there, and permission of each element is 0755.
    Please advise.
    Thank you.
    Tim.
PS: I actually trying to install hit-counter. The path to execute setup script should be:
    (if using php): http://thcv.elementfx.com/cgi-bin/php/setup.php
    (if using perl): http://thcv.elementfx.com/cgi-bin/perl/setup.cgi

    Hello,

Php and other files shouldn't be in the cgi-bin directory. That's for features that aren't currently enabled on free hosting, such as perl.
    Please see: http://x10hosting.com/free-hosting-comparison for details.

    Thanks.

    Re: 404 Not Found

    Hello,

Php scripts will work fine, but place them directly into the public_html folder, or create directories below it. Don't use cgi-bin.

    Thanks.
