Internal Server Error

Hi there, I have just setup an account and have uploaded a test file but whenever I try to access my domain: http://xyryx.elementfx.com/ all I get is an Internal Server Error. I have uploaded the file index.php in the proper directory: /home/xyryx/public_html but still the error remains. Please advice. Thanks.

Did you upload any other files?
Could you please check that folders below public_html are not CHMOD 777. Also, please post the contents of the .htaccess file you have in the public_html directory. If using cPanel file manager you'll need to enable the viewing of dotfiles to see it.

i have no subfolder yet under public html only the index.php file which is basically just an echo of php info and an exisitng but with blank contents .htaccess file

Please post the contents of the php file you're using.
phpinfo() is disabled on free for security.

changing the files to 0644 did the trick. thanks.
