My account suspended - violation of terms - please see this

Sir, i opened folder with name ".log" and i saw many files in that folder.I think they are not log files, they looked like some virus . I opened one of the file using CODE EDITOR to see its content and i am suspended .And , someone uploaded spain.php in the maindirectory (public html), and i deleted that now only . I dont know how they uploaded that file , but i was shocked to see it in the google search . Immediately i logged into account and deleted spain.php . Then i am searching the whole site if there are any other such irrelated files . ?I opened folder with name ".log" and saw many html files which i didnt upload . I tried to open one file using CODE EDITOR and my account suspended saying that i have executed some shell scripts . So, please un-suspend my account and please tell me if u know how they(people who uploaded spain.php) are accessing my account.

Account is suspended due to the usage shell scripts which are prohibited on x10hosting's servers.

I dont know how they uploaded that file

But it is the user's responsibility to save the account at all cost.
This is a permanent suspension.Hence,Kindly refrain from posting any further.

Just adding that the re-review turned up a 1.6gb image gallery in violation of the 1gb limit of the TOS as well, so even if the shell script wasn't you, am I to believe they uploaded that many images too?

Cause I don't buy it, so it's double-permanent.

Sir, i only uploaded those many images and i never read terms(please understand that no one reads big list of terms),so i dont know about limit and now i will upload only 1GB or less than that .

From your above words,i understood that u didnt beleive that someone uploaded those virus files. You are thinking that i am doing all those virus stuff , but its not true . You just think using common sense whether a website owner(like me) keeps virus in his own website ?
And really,whether u beleive it or not,,i dont know about shell scripts and i dont know how to use them and i dont know their advantages .
My website is just an image gallery website ,and it doesnt need any virus or shell scripts .
I am saying all these things only to tell you what happened really , because its my responsibility to tell what really happened.Please dont mind if i said anything wrong .
You gave me free hosting for more than 5 months , thanks a lot for that . This time i will be careful with my account, and if i find any virus , first i will tell you . Thanks again for giving me free hosting these many months.Hope you unsuspend my account

Its all up to Mr.Livewire now.Personally I would not believe a hacking happening on a free account.
Moreover,as Mr.Livewire noticed about the image storage,ToS violations are serious blaphemy on hosting and you say that you did not read the ToS.
Only nice thing about all this conversations is you are quite a civilized person as you speak nicely.Else you did 2 violations and its a permanent suspension.

First i opened that CACHED content, there i saw about that kinderkord product which is being advertised asking us to buy from amazon. Even you can check that cached version,which shows the product that they are advertising .
Next i tried opening direct link (from search page),it redirected me to another website , which automatically downloaded some virus to my PC ,and my Quick Heal antivirus successfully deleted it . It also said that this virus tried to send emails( may be keylogger ) and i blocked it. Then my system restarted suddenly...after that i didnt get any problems.

I think what u said is wrong because, i think, hackers dont see free accounts or paid accounts before hacking, they just check whether the website has some good content or not . May be they like my content .

And, some 3 or 4 months back , my webmaster tools (google tool)showed me some links from my website that were not found at that time . Those links are not mine but found them on webmaster tools, i checked my file manager, but didnt find any . Then I left them as there is nothing i can do with that, because i didnt find those files in my filemanager, but saw them in webmaster tools, then how can i delete them ?

Fine, I'll ignore the shell-script, but for this:

You're permanently suspended for a major violation of the TOS (the 1.6gb image gallery being larger than 1gb). You didn't read the TOS, now it's time to reap the whirlwind. In accordance with sections 6 and 8 all further access to your account has been permanently revoked and will not be restored for any reason, period.


But of course, you're thinking "I didn't agree to this." There's a problem. During signup, there's a box that says "I agree to x10hosting's Terms of Service." You marked it - if you didn't read what you were agreeing to, that is your fault, not ours.


So, again, this is permanent, even if I ignore the shell script. I cannot ignore a violation that is 600mb over the limit specified in the TOS, especially if you're going to admit you didn't even bother to read it. Enjoy the permanent suspension, it's been well earned.


I also don't appreciate being called "no one" - I read the TOS on 6-30-2005, and checked it once per month to ensure I was up to date on any changes. If you don't want to read it, that's your problem, but people -do- read the TOS. Consequently, these are usually the users who aren't being permanently suspended as well.


Ticket closed, and issue is resolved. Reopening this ticket for any reason would be unwise.
