Starka -- intermittent 500

Accessing my site and others on Starka returns a 500 (internal server error) about 50% of the time today. No, there are no file permission issues. .htaccess isn't in play. There is no "active" code on my site; PHP is restricted to static includes.

As I said, the problem is intermittent, so a single page load isn't enough to say "works for me, therefore there is no issue". Whether that indicates something running on the edge of failure or a problem with one box in a cluster, I don't know -- the only tool available to me is the web browser and ordinary site access.
