    Upgrading

    Hello. I am just writing to enquire aboug upgrading from free to paid. I am currently building my website using the free hosting then on lauch plan to upgrade.

    How long does it take to change and will there be any service outage

    And what is the customer service like on premium.

    It can take an hour or two to change, depending on when you initiate the purchase. The transfer has to be done manually, so it's dependent on the availability of support staff. When ordering premium, there should be an option to transfer your free account, so make sure to check that and fill out the info.

    There will likely be a temporary service outage while DNS changes propagate (since your website will be changing IP addresses). There is unfortunately no way to mitigate this as it is outside of x10Hosting's control, but the outage will not last long for most people.

    Customer service on premium is handled by dedicated support staff who respond to queries very quickly (usually within an hour). Support is handled through the ticketing system at https://clients.x10hosting.com

    The outage shouldent be a big deal as i will be launching when i upgrade.
