Not able to enter/login to phpmyadmin

Today i am trying to update some files in phpmyadmin i am able to log in Control panel but when i am trying to click on phpmyadmin link it says to login once again i am giving correct and and password still not able to login it is giving error saying :#2002 Cannot log in to the MySQL server ... Please help me as soon as possible... More over when i clicking to mysql databases it is showing "The MySQL® server is currently offline." and "There are no databases associated with your account." but i have database in it... why this kind of problem arising??
