A .pl question from a newbie

I am really a newbie at this. I have some scripts in CGI/perl and I uploaded it to my account space with proper permission settings recommended by those who generated the scripts. I can successfully load initial HTM page, but when I proceed to .pl file, browser shows "The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." I'm not sure whether it is really a temporary problem or I'm doing something wrong. Can you let me know what I need to do? Thanks a lot.

    Best,

    Hello,

As per our free hosting comparison page, CGI Perl/Python is disabled on Free Hosting.

    Hello,

You need at least Illuminated, which is available here: http://x10hosting.com/forums/payments.php

To purchase Illuminated (the middle column), hit the "Buy now" button at the bottom of that table. Illuminated is cheap (only $1/month), and comes with prime membership. You are still bound by the Free Hosting Terms of Service should you purchase Illuminated, but you will be on a separate server reserved for Illuminated members only which will speed up load times significantly.

To purchase Premium (the right column), visit http://x10premium.com. Premium is completely different from Free Hosting in the sense that you are bound by a less restrictive Terms of Service, you have access to priority support mechanisms, and you have a 99.9% uptime guarantee. When signing up for premium, you can specify to have your free hosting account transferred to the premium servers free of charge.
