Hi there
i got troubles using sftp, it just dosnt seem to work with the provided sftp informations. ftp works fine.

so, is it right that only the port is different when using sftp (22 instead of 21?) anything else to check? i password protected the web folder pointing to the ftp, maybe thats the cause? also, whats the defgault setup, is anon access allowed via FTP / HTTP to an new created ftp account?

SFTP (Ssh File Transfer Protocol) actually utilizes SSH which isn't enabled on free hosting, which is why it won't work.

You can use FTPES (FTP over explicit SSL). Use the same details but just select that in your client rather than normal FTP.
