    Elgg CPU Usage

    Hi every one.

I have a free hosting plan on Stoli. Once, I've been warned about High CPU Usage. I have installed elgg, and I wonder if this is CPU intensive.

Has anyone been able to host for long an active community built on ellg while being in a free hosting plan? How can I manage to reduce the CPU usage?

    Re: Elgg CPU Usage

    Hello,

Some CMS' are just too "heavy" to be run on free hosting. The only thing I could suggest is to disable all plugins etc. You may want to consult the script's developer, as they will be able to give a deeper insight that we can into their own script.
