Hello, I'm having an Internal Server Error problem

My site is working fine, I have a phpbb installation running, and it had no problems until this morning. When I go to access the administration control panel it says "500 Internal Server Error" Thanks in advance for your help, i know I'm still a free customer but I'm looking to upgrade when i get a few more members. Thanks!

Hello,

500 Internal Server Errors are caused by errors on your account that you can easily fix once you figure out what the error is. The common causes for 500 Internal Server Errors are below:
1. Permissions. Files MUST be 644 and folders MUST be 755.
2. Not specifying a RewriteBase when using RewriteRules in .htaccess.
3. Trying to use php_flag or php_value in .htaccess.

Please see our wiki page for more information (from what it sounds like, it seems that the admin directory in phpbb might be set to 777, where it needs to be 755)

The directory is set to 755 but the index.php within the admin files was set to 777, could that be the issue?
