Make a members area need help

How would i make a members area on my website??

like one area on the website that has content that can only be accessed by logged in users but also have a registration script to register people who want to be able to access the content.

Like make one area on the website that only registered and logged in users can access.

one example would be invisonpower client area. Where they can download things and they only have access to certain content if they are logged in. That is what i want but also have a register script that allows them to register and then log in to view this content.

It depends on what kind of script you make your site with. There are tons of open source cms, blogging, and forum scripts that do exactly what you are asking about.
