mysql server isn't showing up in phmyadmin

I created a db called rycon17_2, named user rycon17_3 with all permissions and now I can't get to it in phpmyadmin. I've deleted and recreated this db 3 times. What's going on?

Does this database show up in the MySQL Databases in cPanel?

ah.. I'll keep that mind for the future, and yes, it shows up in cpanel just not phpmyadmin.

Anyone have any luck in finding out what happened because I checked it a few ago and it's still not there.
