    Wink Need help with x10 free hosting + GoDaddy Domain

    I have free hosting (http://rikkilambo.x10.bz) and a domain with GoDaddy (www.totemangel.com), and I want to replace all links that have "rikkilambo.x10.bz" with "www.totemangel.com" on my website.

    For example:
    http://rikkilambo.x10.bz/about-us ---> http://totemangel.com/about-us/

    I went to GoDaddy and changed the nameservers to NS1.X10HOSTING.COM and NS2.X10HOSTING.COM, and that appears to be a mistake, as you can see the webpage is not found when you navigate to my website. What do I need to change for it to work?

    Nothing is always absolutely so.

    I have updated my Main Domain in my x10 Account Manager and it says "finished". However, when I go to my domain (www.totemangel.com), it still says nothing but "Default Web Page". Am I missing anything?

    It can take up to 48 hours for a new domain to propagate across the internet.

    Sometimes, you can speed up the process for your own PC by clearing your browser's cache and flushing your DNS cache, following these steps:

    Re: Need help with x10 free hosting + GoDaddy Domain

    I resolved the problem. Here is what I did:

    1. Went to my x10 Account Manager (https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php) to update my Main Domain

    2. Went to my GoDaddy's DNS Manager and pointed the A and CNAME to my x10 account. However, I left the nameservers the way they were - which was something like NS77.DOMAINCONTROL.COM. I did not change the nameservers to NS1.X10HOSTING.COM.
