Email errors

Even if everyone is having email issues, I use phpBB and it is only good if you can use email activation by user or admin.. I just need to know the SMTP server settings.. cant seem to get them right. Some erorrs say connection refused when trying

mail.mydomain.com
port: x

others fail completely.

To make use of SMTP, you must use a third-party service, such as Google Mail. If you want to send mail from your x10hosting account, you should select the "Sendmail" option and ensure that the From: address is a valid email address created in your cPanel.
