mail sending

Hello,

I have issue to send email from both Joomla and Xhosting webmail

On joomla; no mail are send .....
From the RoundCube Webmail it says
error smtp 550 : cannot add sender "math.lutz@yahoo.fr" (verification failed for no such user here Sender verify failed)

Hello,

If you haven't already done so you'll need to create an email account in your cPanel, sending as the cPanel user does no longer work, and hasn't since cPanel was updated a while back.

You will then have to access webmail for that specific email account in order to send an email. The webmail link on cPanels front page should probably be removed to avoid such confusion. This can be done either by using the dropdown at the "email accounts" list, or by logging in directly to webmail at http://vaevictis.x10.bz:2095 using the full email address as username and the password set for that email account.

As for joomla, make sure you have a valid from address configured in the script.

thanks for your quick answer....

I'm currently just testing your suggestion.
I've created a mail box, logged into it and sent a mail to some @yahoo.fr mail box
that time no error msg anymore which is positif ...mail is in the "sent box"

But ...nothing is in the inbox of my @yahoo.fr adress.... Is xhosting suffering some slownesses in mail delivery ?
(I see today in my @yahoo.fr inbox many email I sent as test yesterday)

still checking if everything is fine
