can't get ftp access to work

Your free hosting seems to be great, even after only a few days of testing. I am even considering moving my own domain over to you and choose a paid account.
But I can't get ftp access to work. I use filezilla and tried manual configuration and your xml files.
I tried normal ftp and sftp. I tried creating new ftp account, simple short passwords.
No matter what I do I get something like:
Status: Connecting to ***.elementfx.com...
Response: fzSftp started
Command: open "joedoe@***.elementfx.com" 22
Command: Pass: ******
Error: Authentication failed.
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server
My ISP does allow all protocols, I have no problem with access to other ftp sites.

Any help appreciated.

SFTP uses SSH, which is not supported on free hosting.
