I have reviewed the logs since when I went to bed and have been completely unable to locate any issues with any comments made by callumacrae. If you have logs, post them and we'll match them up with our own.

First up, joining and immediately saying there's a problem with the High Resource Usage system doesn't help. There is no problem with the HRU system, it does not false-suspend. Proof of this will come later.

Second, I can understand that having to unsuspend yourself every day when the site "isn't even being used at the time" can get annoying. That said, if the script is hogging resources for ANY reason at ANY time, it will be suspended.

Third, this isn't your first run-in on IRC. If callum's comments appear rude, I apologize for that, but first impressions are hard to erase, and the first appearance was not a good one. You've been rude, and even did a rage-quit (17:14 <+levi> im outta here, this hosting is terrible).

Fourth, the issue of it not being in use. How do you know it -wasn't- in use at the time? Cause I've got a log that shows quite clearly it was in use, although not by any human:

That particular hit was on index.php by Googlebot, and ran the cpu over 50% for an extended time. At no point in your history in support tickets did you ever ask for information on what caused it to be suspended - we do have logs and we can get them if necessary.


So, given the evidence provided to me through multiple members of IRC (self included, I did keep logs too) and some well-done log searching, this issue is closed. You have failed to provide evidence that callumacrae has done anything wrong.


Now, if you want the logs for what caused the HRU earlier today, open a new support ticket and ask. We're not above attempting to help when possible, however not all of us have access to the logs, which would also explain why we prefer tickets over IRC - if someone needs the HRU logs on irc, most of us there can't get them. If someone needs them in a ticket, the ones who see it and can't get the logs notify the ones who can.
