All you need to do is make a new support request for account deletion, and then fill out and post the form from this thread Account deletions, policy change..

It depends on how long the creation queue is. Since it's taking longer than usual, the queue must be longer than usual. If after 48-72 hours since you signed up your account still isn't created, then post back here to let us know.
