    Why is my account suspended?

    Hi,
    Why does my hosting account keep getting suspended? I do not think I am doing anything wrong, all I am doing is running a WordPress blog. And I thought we had unlimited storage + unlimited bandwidth.

    This is what it says when I unsuspended my account:
    Suspension Reason: You have been suspended for high system resource usage. Accounts are suspended for usage when they are detected to have consistently high cpu usage, memory usage, or process amounts. This is an automatic suspension, you're able to unsuspend yourself immediately. Warning 1 of 3.

    You are not being suspended for bandwidth (that's the amount of data being transferred over the internet to and from your users) or for storage (the amount of disk space you're using). The suspensions are for how much work the server has to do to create and serve pages when you use WordPress, particularly when you use themes or plugins that aren't well-behaved. What it boils down to is this: in trying to be all things to all people, WordPress has become a platform that does everything the hard way. All by itself, just using the default install and the default theme, it does a lot of calculating and makes a lot of database calls to produce a basic HTML page. When you add features using themes and plugins, the server needs to do more work -- and not all of the plugins are well-written.

    See the x10Hosting Wiki entry on High Resource Usage for more, and some things you might be able to do to fix the problem.

    Okay, I will try that, but this is my second warning and I really don't want to lose all of my hard work in putting this site together.

    I can't seem to unsuspend my account. Could someone do it for me? It only says warning 2 of 3, but I have had 3 warnings.

    Howdy;
    Your account is not currently suspended and I am able to view your website "The Bunge Family" with no difficulties. You may need to clear your browser cache and then try again.
    High Resource Usage Suspensions are temporary suspensions. You are not at risk of losing your account because of high resource usage. If you accumulate to many HRU suspensions in a short period of time you may have to request that a community helper unsuspend your account for you, but it is nothing to become highly alarmed about.
    If you need additional assistance just post back.
