Hello, I have a mybb forum installed on my account. Previously, I could use php mail where people who could register would get verification emails. Apparently for the last day or two, php mail doesn't work anymore.
Is this temporary or turned off permanently? verification emails really help because they weed out spam.

I managed to get MyBB forums to use gmail's SMTP (SSL port 465 at smtp.gmail.com) as a temporary solution.

It has been noted that the new configuration has caused problems with PHP mail()

Gmail is a good alternative. For one thing, it avoids the problems with services like Hotmail blacklisting mail from the x10 mail servers.
