Will it be against the TOS?

Hello, I'm currently running a dynamic image website and I want to add an option to add a background image. Of course the image will be drawn from a link, the images won't be uploaded on my server, so if someone upload a porn image or something like that, I won't be in trouble. But if someone write the link of a porn image as a background, would it be against the terms of service? The porn image would be drawn dynamically with a PHP script, so it would not be hosted, but only displayed.

Sorry for my bad English, my primary language is French.

Thanks in advance for the answers!

If general public could see porn images on your sites then it is violating the rule. if only the specific person (who wrote the link) can see the image then it is not. That's my guess.

Thanks for the reply. The user can put his image everywhere, on his forum signature, on his website, etc.

You are not hosting any file that is illegal, but you may be allowing others to access what is illegal (or against X10's TOS) like photographs with illegal content pictured or the images are copyrighted and hotlinked.

It would be unreasonable for you to block everything that is illegal or against the TOS, so I would strongly advise not to take this path.

On top of that, this would be seen as script hosting, which is against X10's TOS. Our servers are doing very heavy work using the GD library, but it is generating zero traffic to our servers.
