    Hello,

Change your cPanel password through account panel. Learn How-to and then try again.
    it should solve your problem.

    Re: Login attempt failed

Are you sure you wish to cancel the account? I can take care of it if you absolutely cannot get in.

The information sent to you is correct. I see that you are on Boru on my end and the Hosting Username is correct.

Visit https://boru.x10hosting.com/ and log in using the cPanel Username and Password you have chosen. Your Username is what you have mentioned above, and your password is whatever you have set it to (Keep in mind, it is case sensitive). If you continue to be unable to log into cPanel, the password you use on your Account Panel and these forums should be the same password as your cPanel password. Failing that, reset it from the Account Panel.

If you are unable to reach cPanel by any means, try the following address:

    http://boru.x10hosting.com:2082/

Failing that, see if you are able to log into FTP. The hostname for FTP can be filled in as either boru.x10hosting.com or your chosen domain name. The port is the default FTP port of 21, and your cPanel Usermane and Password will allow you to log in.

    Thank you,
I finally got it to let me in..after everything else, I rebooted my system, deleted my cookies and started over..so no..don't cancel the account because it's working for the first time since my other server went down a month ago. Thanks for your help and advice.
