can not register for an account

Hello
I am trying to register for an account but it tells me i am using a proxy server or I have to wait 24 hrs.
I searched the forum and i noticed a lot of people are having this issue
I live in Canada , is Canada in your black list ? if not , can you please let me know why i can not register?

also , I (as a user) really appreciate if you make the sign-up easier ! its been like 2 weeks i am trying to register and i get that error

Canada is most definitely not on the block list. The problem may very well be your location -- remember that the server doesn't get your IP address if you are working on a network (wifi access point, etc.), it gets the IP address of the entity that's hooked directly to the internet (router, proxy or passthru server, depending on the network). (A separate IP address is assigned to you by your access network, and the network uses NAT -- Network Address Translation -- to determine which requests came from or need to be sent to your computer.) It may be that you are not alone on that network trying to sign up here, or your previous signup failure(s) may still be counting against you (that's the "wait 24 hours" part).

Be patient, and try again after the waiting period is up. If there is still a problem, please post back to this thread.
