Unable to signup for Prime Membership

When I try to sign up for Prime Membership on the forums I get an error from PayPal stating that Student Accounts are not allowed to signup for subscriptions. Is there any other way I may make this payment to get the membership or I am out of luck?

Depends, were you planning on getting a full year, or a shorter period?

If you want to do a year we can sort it manually where you transfer the sum to our paypal account and let us know from which email you did the payment. Once that part is confirmed we'll set your account to the Prime package.

It is not really feasible to do this for shorter periods since we'd have to do it each time you want to renew the Prime package.

Thank you for telling me the address. Unfortunately, I am running into a PayPal issue where it says my account isn't Verified... even though it is. I will let you know as soon as I am able to send the payment. PayPal support isn't very helpful either...

As I am still unable to send the payment, because of PayPal error, I am going to close this thread and I will just reopen it when the issue has been resolved. Sorry about the trouble.
