cPanel login failing

Hello,

i tried setting up an account but when I try to use the cpanel feature it is always refusing my logon and also does not accept the manual input of the username and password.

Can you please verify that all settings are correct so that I can logon without problems please?

I am able to login to cPanel without issue on the server you are hosted on. What is happening when it "refuses your login" ?

Hello Bryon,

I use the page http://x10hosting.com/control to log into my account from there I see the option:

Free Hosting - active - username - trk - View Details

So I click on 'View details' and a new page appears. On this 'Hosting Account Management' page I use the button labeled: 'Logon to cPanel'.

=> I assume that this should do a single sign on to the cPanel login.

However a new page loads:

https://starka.x10hosting.com:2083/l...n_theme=cpanel

stating:

Login Attempt Failed!
LoginUsername Password

If I type in my username and password the same page gets loaded again.

I hope this is off any help for checking the problem.

Hello,

it seems to be resolved now ...

I did reset my password and also set the IE 9 settings to not ask for my credentials at the page anymore and with that I was able to log in ...

Anyway, Thanks for your help ...
