Boru Upgrade

I'm not sure whether or not the error that occurred during the upgrade affected me but I am having trouble accessing pages on my site that I see in the cPanel File Manager and that I am 100% positive I have published. I am getting a '403 Permission Denied' error. Specifically on this page: http://stats.x10.bz/Cross%20Country/...2/082011cc.php

I have discovered that I get the error message when I link to the page from my webs.com site, but not when I input it directly into the browser.

I need it to work from the webs.com site if you could please see if it is something on your end or theirs that would be much appreciated.

Also linking from Facebook doesn't work either. So i'm guessing that linking from any outside website isn't working.

The issue was your directory permissions, they need to be 755. I have corrected it for you.

Ok thank you. Unfortunately I'm still getting the error and it does mention permissions as being a cause. Am I able to change these on my own?

Yes, you can change them in the file manager of cPanel.

In general directories need 755, and files 644. Do note that having 777 on any file/folder that you access directly in the browser will give an error.

I have checked & rechecked all permissions for the associated file and it's parent folders and I am still getting the error.

On what url do you get the error?

Another common cause is .htaccess. If you have RewriteEngin on, you also need RewriteBase / (or whatever is suitable in your case a base directive is needed though), also you can NOT set any php flags in .htaccess for the setup on free hosting.
