Unable To FTP W/Dreamweaver

Am using a Mac, Dreamweaver CS3, and trying to FTP to a free account.
Have tried everything and nothing is working. A notice pops up in Dreamweaver that states there is an FTP error: "A problem with the login or password". But login and password are correct.

Please advise.

FTP is online and working on all servers, make sure you are using the correct data. Download FileZilla and try connecting with it to rule out your computer\firewall\router (http://filezilla-project.org/). If it works with FileZilla it is Dreamweaver, if it doesn't there is another issue.
