    stream_socket_client() availability

    I just installed Drupal 7, and I keep getting drupal_http_request() errors when performing specific tasks on the website. After googling about the issue, it has come to my attention that this is usually caused when hosts disable one of the functions needed by Drupal for security reasons.

    Is there any way that this function can be enabled?

    Exactly what are the message errors?

    Anyway, the function is disabled for a reason. It is server wide and individual exceptions cannot be granted.
    Nothing is always absolutely so.
