Can't log in to FTP

Hello! I just made an account here yesterday. I'm having trouble logging into my FTP. I made an account called mem and the FTP says:

USER mem
331 User mem OK. Password required
PASS (hidden)
530 Login authentication failed

I know the password is correct, and I tried changing it and trying again. I use SmartFTP if that matters.

Also here's something else weird, but probably unrelated. On my hosting account page, on the right I see broken images for Disk Usage and Bandwidth Usage.

If you did create the account in cPanel it would be in the form username@maindomain.com

Your cPanel username is NOT mem, in fact there's no cPanel user at all by the name mem. You can see what your username is through the account panel under "Hosting".

Haha I know my cPanel isn't mem, that's the FTP account. I didn't know I had to put the @domain thing, that seems to be working now. Thanks!

I pointed that out since cPanel username is the only once that work without the domain appended, I've seen a few using the wrong username for cPanel
