Host issues

I just signed up for an account, I am using SmartFTP right now, but whenever I type in boru (which is the host server's name according to the email I received), SFTP can't connect and it keeps telling me this:

Resolving host name "boru"
Unable to resolve host name.

could someone please tell me what the issue is here please?

Try using the full server address boru.x10hosting.com
