To activate CloudFlare, you need to update your name servers as follows:

If you are using a free subdomain provided by x10hosting (such as x10.mx), you cannot change nameservers, therefore you cannot use the advanced features and options of CloudFlare that are provided on their website. By activating CloudFlare through cPanel, it is setup so you do not need to make nameserver changes. CloudFlare's basic security and acceleration/caching features still work.
In order to use the more advanced features of CloudFlare, you will need to have your own domain name, which you would have full DNS control over.
