Php session error (x10 starting to look bad in my eyes)

well besides my failing web mail now i'm having some php issues here's the problem

"Warning: Unknown: write failed: No space left on device (28) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0"

.... this happens when a small php code tries to wright a session property... what the error says is that the "session.save_path" (my "tmp" directory) is non existent or full[and yes it exists, i'm not stupid i checked], and.... i can't check/fix this because i can't access the php.ini file so some help from x10hosting wpould be greatly appreciated... (no i have not done anything to my tmp in fact haven't done a thing outside of the "public_html" folder)
