    cgi-bin

Hi, I signed up for an account with x10 because one of the features was a cgi-bin. I can see that I have a cgi-bin in my account but can't seem to do anything with it. Is there a way to access a cgi center from the cpanel? I need to install cgiemail so I can use a form on my site. I copy/pasted cgiemail and cgiecho from an old site of mine into the cgi-bin but it's not working. When I submit my form , it takes me to a blank page with an error saying lscgid: execve():/home/qcchomes/public_html/cgi-bin/cgiemail: Permission denied
I need to be able to install cgiemail into my cgi-bin from my cpanel. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

PHP is the only active code supported on free hosting accounts. Shell access, Perl, Python, etc., are disabled for security reasons (mostly due to continual abuse), as are PHP functions that provide essentially the same access to the system. You can use a PHP mailer or other PHP-based forms processing code.
